There are certain skills I have fond memories of both I can't list in the top 10. Back when GW first came out, I used to love backfiring Hydras in the desert only to meteor storm them after. It used to be really fulfilling to turn the tables on a enemy that, at the time, was considered a devastating opponent.

Four pages of this and no one has mentioned the pre-nerf Siphon Speed? It was probably the best non-elite skill ever.

A lot of these lists are bad IMO. Here is my list (not including Rez Sig or PvE-Only skills because those don't count IMO).

10. Parasitic Bond (The only necro skill I thought was worthy. Represents every hex build.)

9. Evicerate (One of the best axe skills. Was used in old iway.)

8. Diversion (One of the best designed skills they made. Pure mesmer skill.)

7. Gale (The old version was nuts and was ran on all warriors and casters. The new version is still solid.)

6. Word of Healing (The old version was good and run in Halls. The new version is the best healing skill in the game.)

5. Distracting Shot (One of the best ranger skills in the game. Has stood the test of time as the defining interrupt skill.)

4. Prot Spirit (This thing is used all over PvE and PvP for various reasons since the beginning of the game until now.)

3. Meteor Shower (This could be #1 if this list were judged solely by game impact. Contributed largely to both a major PvE nerf and a major PvP change.)

2. Frenzy (Could be the best skill they ever designed. Rewards warriors who know what they are doing and has been run since the beginning.)

1. Reversal of Fortune (Monks are the most important class in the game. This skill is the bread and butter of protection. I don't see how you can't include this skill.)

Hmmmm...

10: Fire Storm. Because of the nice raining flames and how useful it was before scatter.

9: Conjure Phantasm. Love the picture and the skill itself is ok.

8: Bone Fiend. God I love those fackers.

7: Mist Form. Decent farming skill and the thought of having this ability is awesome.

6: Hundred Blades. Loved it even before the update and after it 0.0 hell is lose! XD

5: Shadow Prison. Good skill. Would look amazing in real

4: RoJ. New version is awesome and it has an amazing look. Like gods actual judgement

3: Comfort Animal. Pets <3<3<3

2: Pain Inverter. Holy cow 0.0

1: Final Thrust. Love this skill <3

Gale
Signet of Might
Nature's Renewal
Offering of Blood
Chain Lightning
Energy Drain
Eviscerate
Order of Pain+Vampire (stacking)
Putrid Explosion
Ether Renewal

Obviously all of these prior to their infinite nerfs they have recieved over the years.

There are more, but these were probably some of the most important. (No room for zealots fire)

I guess if you are looking at it in terms of "top 10 most broken skills of all time" then yes. The way I looked at it was top 10 most impactful that have lasted for most of the games life.

Skills that in one way or another have made some kind of big impact on the game.

Frenzy.
WoH.
RoF.
Distracting Shot.
Diversion.

IWaY. You know a skill should be on the top list when people STILL try to run it.
Ursan. Uh?do i really have to explain?
Shadow Form. (current) godmode much?
Smiter Boon. The GW symbolic meaning of fail.
Mending. What people thought was good when the game was new.

Dervish love (some things worth mentioning)

Mystic Regeneration...mending on steriods.

Vow of Silence (Making the Droks Run a cake walk? Which other skill has done that?)

Wounding Strike - Overpowered hands down

OLD Avatar of Grenth (removing enchantments with each swing)

OLD Grenth's Aura (removing it with Pious Fury was uber haxxors)

Rending Touch - Show'd some light in GvG on Axe warriors for a time

Harrier's grasp - Just for the whole 'I'm better than my elite version' (Grenth's grasp) thing

Attacker's Insight - Almost a staple on every skillbar, two free attacks. (Mostly in the form of Chilling Victory and Pious Assualt)
